The Lyle-Pacelli baseball team outlasted Hayfield in a pitcher’s duel with a 1-0 win in eight innings Hayfield Friday.

In a game that included just four hits, LP (9-1 overall) took the lead for good in the top of the eighth when Dawson Jenkins scored on an RBI by Hunter Wollenburg.

Kael Steele didn’t allow an earned run in eight innings for Hayfield (6-5 overall) as he struck out 10.
