Hayfield’s Carly Bronson clinched her fifth straight trip to the Class A state golf meet when she won the Section 1A meet in Rochester Wednesday.

Bronson shot a 79 on Wednesday after putting up a 77 on Tuesday. Her two day score of 156 was eight strokes ahead of the second place finisher.

Bronson took seventh in last year’s state meet.

The two-day state golf meet is set for June 10 and June 11 at Pebble Creek Golf Course in Becker.
