Join us on May 14, at 9 a.m., as we explore 1,200 acres of professionally-maintained gardens at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Our highlight will be acres of blooming crabapple trees and azalea bushes, and of course over 10,000 tulip bulbs, which are already starting to bloom. There will be a narrated tram tour around the gardens. A lunch will be included along with time to spend in their gift and garden shop.

We do have a few seats available and open to the public.

May 21 and July 23: “Grease: The Musical,” at the   Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, which is one of the biggest shows at Chanhassen this season. Currently there is a waiting list so watch carefully for the final due date so as not to lose your seat.

June 19: “Matilda.”  A fun musical that will delight all of the family. For this trip we have invited the young folks to join us with their parents or grandparents. We have special rates for children.

We have reserved a special dinner at the Hormel Historic Home with departure at 4 p.m. and will return at 10:15 p.m.

This show is at the Marion Ross Theatre in Albert Lea.

June 26: It’s those Minnesota Twins versus the Seattle Mariners. We have great seats under the canopy at Target Field. We are scheduling one bus to a Twins game this year.

Aug. 10: It’s a great way to spend a Sunday in such a scenic city — Lanesboro. This is also a bikers capital. This trip also includes the production of “Lone Star  Spirits,” billed as a hilarious comedy with lunch at the Peddle Pusher. A flower garden tour and a couple more surprise stops will be included.

Fall day time travel is also planned for a one-day Mystery Trip, and trip to the Fireside Dinner Theatre for “Oklahoma the Musical” in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, with a stop at the Cranberry Bogs Festival on day two.

An updated newsletter will be available by the end of May.

Our group has recently returned from Italy. They were able to spend time in Rome following the passing of Pope Francis. This  trip  was a  very memorable.

Our Travel Show will be at 2-4 p.m. on May 20 at the Mower County Senior Center. Schedules for 2026 will be available then.
