As summer quickly arrives, with blossoms all around us, so is our travel schedule for this season.

These are some reminders of our schedule.

May 21: “Grease the Musical” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. Includes a choice of entrée before the show. Our motorcoach departs at 9 a.m. with loading 20 minutes prior from the south end of Walmart.

June 19: “Matilda” at the Marion Ross Dinner Theatre in Albert Lea. This is a show that would be fun to ask a child to join you. A special dinner is included at the Hormel Historic Home before. Departure time is 4:30 p.m.

June 26: Minnesota Twins vs Seattle Mariners at Target Field in Minneapolis. Departing at 9 a.m. We have great seats where we can all cheer them on.

July 23: “Grease the Musical” at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. Both Grease shows are on a waiting list. Departing at 9 a.m. We will continue to use deluxe motorcoaches.

Aug. 10: Lanesboro and a day filled with activities in this historic city. Our plans include the production of “Lone Star Spirits” with lunch at the Pedal Pusher Cafe prior to the show. We also have included other stops such as a fabulous flower farm and the impressive Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Preston.

Please pay attention to the fee due date, as we do have waiting lists.

For extended travel with Jan, a reminder of our annual Travel Show is on May 20 at 2 p.m. We will showcase our extended travel trips to Panama, Australia/New Zealand, America’s 250th birthday in Virginia and the Danube River Cruise.

Brochures and registration forms will be available at the meeting. We will continue to be open on Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to noon. We’re located at the Mower County Senior Center, 400 3rd Ave NE.
