Cooperative Response Center, Inc. (CRC) has announced the appointment of Susanne Ruple as its new regional business manager for its western region. Ruple brings a wealth of experience and a strong background in the utility industry to her new role.
Ruple’s career includes valuable experience at both a municipal utility and an electric cooperative. Most recently, she managed the member services department at an electric cooperative in Karnes City, Texas, where she spent more than six years gaining firsthand experience with CRC’s solutions and services.
“I’m excited to join CRC and build on the relationships I’ve developed throughout my career,” said Ruple. “It’s a privilege to work for a company I’ve long respected as a customer, and I’m looking forward to serving and growing our membership.”
Ruple holds a business degree from Texas Tech University and completed the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) Management Internship Program (MIP) in Wisconsin, a leadership training program specifically designed for the electric cooperative industry. As a regional business manager for CRC, Ruple will support existing member accounts while driving new growth opportunities across a 13-state territory that includes Texas —where she will be based while working for CRC.
“Susanne brings a unique perspective to CRC with her rare combination of cooperative and municipal utility experience,” said Dan Otteson, vice president, marketing and membership. “She’s walked in our customers’ shoes and understands their day-to-day challenges. Her leadership skills, deep industry insight, and strong customer service ethic will be a tremendous asset as we continue to support our members and expand our reach across the western and southwestern United States.”
