The Austin Bruins are coming back home with a chance to close out the NAHL Centra Division finals, but they’ll have to win two games in a row to do so.
The Bruins finished with a weekend split in Bismarck as they lost game two of the five game series to the Bobcats 2-0 Saturday night.
Bismarck’s Kyle Doll scored the first goal of the game in the first minute of the third period.
Jack Solomon stopped 24 of 25 shots for Austin.
With the series tied 1-1, Austin will now host games three and four on Friday and Saturday in Riverside Arena. The Bruins are two wins away from their fourth Robertson Cup appearance in franchise history.
