AHS Alumni association accepting nominations for Distinguished Alumni Award

The Austin High School Alumni and Friends Association is accepting nominations for its Distinguished Alumni Award.
Nominations will be accepted until June 1 for the award, which coincides with Homecoming. Nominations are available online at www.apefoundationahsalumni.com or by emailing Jeni Beckel Lindberg at jeni.lindberg@austin.k12.mn.us
The candidates must be an alum of Austin High School who have been out of school for a minimum of 10 years prior to nomination. They must also have contributed to society in an exemplary manner.
The candidates must also have achieved outstanding success in any of the following: business, a profession, the arts, humanitarian efforts or community service.
The goal of the award is to recognize alum of AHS for outstanding achievements and contributions to society following graduation as well as promote positive role models for currently enrolled students at AHS.
