The Southland softball team couldn’t get its offense going as it lost to No. 2 ranked United South Central 6-0 on the road Tuesday.

The Rebels (5-1 overall) had just two hits as USC’s Mariah Anderson struck out 16.

“They have one of the top pitchers in the state,” Southland head coach Tom Clements said.
