The Austin softball team held on to beat Rochester Mayo (6-1 overall) 7-6 in Rochester Thursday night.

The Packers (5-5 overall) scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh inning to go up 7-4 and they held Mayo to two runs in the bottom of the seventh to win it.
