“A man who works for the immediate present and it’s immediate rewards is nothing but a fool” Wilbert Wright
This quote from one of the Wright brothers defines the “fool” too many of our population voted into the White House. He is wishy-washy, and can’t seem to commit from one day to the next. He seems to think what he is doing is for our good, but looking at the results we should know by now this is false. This twice impeached, felon who is a convicted rapist is not doing what is best for all of us. He is supposed to be a “public servant,” but power got to his narcissistic head and he knows nothing but how to manipulate the public into believing he is doing this for the betterment of our country. This country of ours, for decades, was the shining pillar of democracy, strength, and compassion.
A country people moved to for a better life, fleeing corruption, starvation, crime, inflation and poverty. Now the tables have turned and we are, as a country, the laughing stock of the rest of the world. Companies are no longer investing here due to the uncertainty that the pseudo-president Musk and his lackey Trump have been doing to the stock market. They see too, how Musk has destroyed the lives of tens of thousands of hard working, highly educated government employees who have decades of knowledge under their belts. All the while the “toddler” looks adoringly from his desk in the Oval Office that is decorated in the garish fashion with gold everywhere.
The richest man in the world has destroyed real lives by bull dozing our agencies that have provided essential services to the elderly, the infirmed, our veterans, our education system, our health care, our scientific community, and the health of our planet. Shame on our Minnesota elected officials who are not standing up against this child in the White House.
The dismantling of our democracy, the destruction of our country has just begun. Everyone’s vote is necessary to see if we can break the tide of self-inflicted wounds that the MAGA Republicans, and the silent ones who continue to enable this administration. Keep in mind the upcoming 2026 election and vote for democracy, not for false promises.
