LeRoy woman injured Thursday after being struck by object through vehicle windshield

A LeRoy woman was injured Friday afternoon after she was struck by an object that had gone through the windshield of the vehicle she was driving.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Casandra Danielle Faulhaber, 36, was driving southbound on Highway 63 when an object suspected of coming from a passing vehicle went through the windshield and struck her.
The incident took place just after 1 p.m. on Friday at milepost 27 in Racine Township, Mower County. The passenger of the vehicle, 35-year-old Jerrod Ryan Faulhaber, was uninjured.
Casandra Faulhaber was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Grand Meadow Ambulance and Stewartville Fire Department all responded.
