The Southland softball team suffered a tough loss in Houston Tuesday as the Hurricanes (9-2 overall) scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning to win 6-5.

Haylee Lowe and Laney Weis hit back-to-back homers and the Rebels (6-2 overall) were tied 5-5 going into the bottom of the seventh inning when the Hurricanes scored the walk-off.
