Bruins close out regular season, will host Minot next week

The Austin Bruins closed out their regular season with a 4-2 win over the Minnesota Mallards (10-55-2-3 overall) in Forest Lake Saturday.
Luc Malkhassian recorded his franchise record 51st assist on the season in the victory and Carl Axelsson had 23 saves.
The Bruins will enter the NAHL Central Division playoffs as the No. 2 seed and they will play a five game series with Minot. The Bruins (42-12-3-2 overall) will host Minot on April 18 and April 19, with each game starting at 7:05 p.m. The Minotauros will host the third and fourth games on April 25 and April 26, with start times at 7:35 p.m.
Game five would be in Riverside Arena at 7:05 p.m. on April 28.
