The Austin Bruins blanked the North Iowa Bulls 4-0 in Riverside Arena Saturday.

Carl Axelsson stopped all 30 shots he saw to register the shutout for Austin.

Friday’s win was No. 250 for Bruins head coach Steve Howard, who took over as the franchise’s third head coach in 2017. Howard is the winningest coach in Bruins history and he has taken the Bruins to postseason six times, with the team finishing in second place in the Robertson Cup in 2017-2018.
