Austin girls basketball head coach Eric Zoske has stepped down after eight years on the job.
Zoske, who led the Packers to three state tournament appearances in eight years, has taken a head coaching job with the North Polk girls basketball team in Iowa to be closer to his family.
Austin had a winning record in six of Zoske’s eight seasons at the helm as he compiled a record of 143-73 overall in his tenure.
Zoske also coached AHS’s top two scorers of all-time as senior Ajiem Agwa finishes as the school’s all time leading scorer and Hope Dudycha, who is now at Division II University of Minnesota Crookston, is the second leading scorer in AHS history.
