The Riverland Community College baseball team has won three of its first six games in Tucson, Arizona.

Austin grad Peyton Ransom had a big day against Williston State College on March 9 as he knocked in two runs and pitched the Blue Devils to a 10-7 win.

Ransom was one for-four with a two RBIs and a run scored, and he pitched five and one-thirds of an inning, while allowing five this, four walks, four earned runs and four strikeouts.

Karlo Aguirre homered in the win for RCC as well.
