The Austin boys swimmers will be represented in three events in the finals at the Minnesota Class A swimming and diving meet Saturday.

Austin junior Brent Dahl advanced to two final events and the 200-yard medley relay team advanced to the consolation finals during Friday’s preliminaries at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center at the University of Minnesota

Dahl took second in the 100-yard backstroke prelims and third in the 200-individual medley. The 200-medley team of Dahl, Hunter Peters, Simon Pischke and Noah Holt, took 14th in their prelim race.

Hunter Peters finished 19th in the 100-yard backstroke.
