Mark E O’Leary, 71

Mark Edward O’Leary, age 71, of Austin, sadly left our world on February 27, 2025 at his residence. He was born on October 29, 1953 in Austin to the late Andrew and Bernice O’Leary.

Mark brought laughter wherever he went and was able to leave an impression on all who knew him. His charisma was matched by his strong work ethic, which he learned growing up on the O’Leary family farm in Blooming Prairie, Minnesota, and contributed to his entrepreneurial success throughout his life.

Mark is survived by his loving partner of 22 years, Lisa Thomas, sisters Mary Underwood (Pat) and Eileen O’Leary, sons Aaron O’Leary and Colin O’Leary, and daughter Meredith O’Leary. Mark was known as “Bumpa” to his beloved grandchildren.

A celebration of life in his honor will be announced soon.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Bernice, and his brother Andy Mike.
