LIFE Mower County is once again hosting two incredible fundraising events—the annual Rose Sale and the deliciously fun Beer, Bacon, and Beignets event. These fundraisers are vital in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families in Mower County. As a privately funded nonprofit, LIFE Mower County does not receive state or federal funding, making community support through fundraisers like these essential.
The Rose Sale has ended but we still need your help
Thank you to everyone who purchased roses to support LIFE Mower County! While the sale has ended, we are still looking for volunteers to assist with sorting and distributing roses on Tuesday, April 8. Your help will ensure a smooth and successful delivery process! If you’re interested in volunteering, please visit www.lifemowercounty.org/rosesale.
Beer, Bacon, and Beignets – a tasty way to give back
If you love great food, drinks, and supporting a good cause, mark your calendar for Saturday, April 26. The Beer, Bacon, and Beignets fundraiser will take place from 1-4 p.m. at Packer Arena, featuring savory bacon-inspired bites, tasty beignets, and a variety of refreshing beers. This event is a perfect way to spend an afternoon with friends while supporting LIFE Mower County.
Tickets are still available, and we are also looking for volunteers to help make this event a success. Whether you want to lend a hand or simply enjoy the fun, your participation makes a difference. Get your tickets and sign up to volunteer at www.lifemowercounty.org/bbb.
Why these
fundraisers matter
Funds raised from these events allow LIFE Mower County to continue providing valuable programs and services to individuals with I/DD and their families. With no government funding, every donation, ticket purchase, and volunteer effort helps sustain and grow these critical services.
Whether you choose to volunteer, enjoy delicious food and drinks, or simply spread the word, your support makes a lasting impact.
