Engine issue leads to car fire Tuesday afternoon

Austin firefighters were called to a car fire early Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of Fourth Street and 10th Drive NW.
According to Fire Chief Jim McCoy, the blaze claimed a 2007 Lincoln MKZ and was due to mechanical issues with the engine.
The vehicle was a total loss of $1,000 in value. There were no injuries.
