Austin grad Cassidy Shute helped the RCTC women’s basketball team wrap up an NJCAA Division III National Championship last week as she was a starter for the Yellowjackets, who beat Jefferson 73-37 in the title game.
Shute averaged 5.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.1 assist per game as she played 17 games for RCTC this season.
