With between one to three inches of snow possible throughout the day today, the National Weather Service has placed our area into a winter weather advisory through to 3 a.m. Thursday morning.
Along with that, the NWS will place the area into a cold weather advisory that will kick into effect at midnight and go through to 9 a.m. Thursday morning.
Along with the snow, temperatures will remain low throughout the day with windchill values reaching as low as -8 during the day, however, at night the temperatures will really dip as wind chill values could get as low as -25.
Another half inch of snow could fall tonight as well.
Temperatures are expected to be low Thursday as well as windchill values of -25 could persist deeper into the day before a warming Friday and the chance of more snow.
