Funeral Mass for Shirley E. Davis will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday February 15, 2025 at St Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow, MN with Father Gregory Parrott officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4:30 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday February 14 at the Church.

Shirley E. Davis, age 95, of Grand Meadow, MN passed away Feb 8th at the Grand Meadow Health Care Center.

Shirley Elaine Warn was born on Feb 25, 1929 in rural Grand Meadow to Galen and Thrasea Warn. She was baptized at the Bear Creek Lutheran Church in rural Grand Meadow and attended Grand Meadow High School graduating as Salutatorian of the class of 1947. She and Stan Davis knew each other most of their lives as neighborhood friends. They fell in love and were married on June 15, 1948 at St Finbarr Catholic Church in Grand Meadow, MN after Stan had returned from the Navy. They began their married life on a dairy farm in rural Grand Meadow where Stan worked with his father and his three brothers. They lived on the farm all their married life, and raised their 7 children there. Shirley was blessed with a long life filled with accomplishments, but she felt her greatest accomplishment was her family. She was an accomplished seamstress, from sewing to crocheting, and many kinds of crafts.

She is survived by her children, Ann Hanson of Grand Meadow, LaVonne (Dave) Griffin of Park Rapids, MN, Warren (Sharon) of Baxter, MN, Jim (Lynee) of Grand Meadow, Tom (Chris) of Neponset, IL, Rick (Brenda) of Kasson, MN and Mark of Grand Meadow, 13 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother Glen (Betty) Warn of Grand Meadow. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stan, her in-laws and a son-in-law Herb Hanson. She is the last of her generation of the Davis family.
