A pair of area schools have called off school Tuesday due to impending cold temperatures that could send windchill temperatures as low as -38:

• Austin Public Schools, including after school clubs, activities and Ellis Middle School athletics — Austin High School athletic practices and contests will occur as scheduled. Kids Korner will be closed for students in grades pre-kindergarten through fourth grade. All Community Education classes are also canceled.

• Pacelli Catholic Schools (Shamrock Zone will be open)

• Southland Public Schools

• Grand Meadow Public School, including no after school activities, no School Age Care. Lark Adventures will be open.

• Lyle Public Schools

• Blooming Prairie. All student activities are cancelled.

• LeRoy-Ostrander Public School.
