The No. 2 seeded Grand Meadow girls basketball team knocked off No. 15 Wabasha-Kellogg (3-23 overall) 62-33 in a Section 1A Tournament opener in GM Thursday.

Gracie Foster hit five three-pointers as she scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for GM (23-2 overall).

GM will now play No. 6 Houston in a Section 1A quarterfinal in Mayo Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
