The Riverland Community College women’s basketball team made a late run, but it eventually bowed out in a 74-52 loss to Rochester Community and Technical College in Riverland Gym Wednesday.
Lyle grad Olivia Christianson poured in 27 points on nine-of-15 shooting to go along with five rebounds and four steals for the Yellowjackets (19-0 overall).
The Blue Devils pulled as close as 46-41 in the second half, but the Yellowjackets pulled away with a 20-9 push in the fourth quarter.
Austin grad Reanna Schmitt had 13 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks for the Blue Devils (15-5 overall)
