Winter weather advisory issued
A system currently tracking toward the area for Tuesday could result in around three inches of snow.

A winter weather advisory has been posted by the National Weather Service ahead of the system and will be in effect from 4 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
According to the NWS, the system is supposed to start with snow and possibly freezing rain before 2 p.m. and then turning to all snow. New snow accumulation of 1-3 inches is expected.
A light glaze of ice is also possible. People should plan ahead for slippery road conditions.
