Austin junior Olivia Walsh just missed out on advancing to the finals at the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center Friday.

She took 17th in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.14 seconds and she finished 18th in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 55.18 seconds.

With only the top 16 swimmers advancing to Saturday’s finals, Walsh’s competition is finished for the year.
