A pinning ceremony was held during the Austin City Council’s regular meeting Monday evening to recognize the promotion of Austin Police Sgt. Mike Hartman to lieutenant. Hartman was the previous night shift sergeant. He is the APD’s Use of Force Instructor and is a member of the Special Incident Response Team. Also pictured is Austin Police Chief David McKichan.
