After reading the article, “Holiday Inn to serve as 2020 polling location,” I was disappointed it did not provide more information about how to vote absentee in this year’s elections. In 2013, the legislature and Gov. Dayton, on a bi-partisan basis, passed legislation allowing for no-excuse absentee voting.

This means eligible voters can request a ballot be mailed to them after completing a simple application. During this time of a pandemic, when we are short on election judges, and we want to keep ourselves and our neighbors safe, do your part, and vote from home in the August primary and November general elections. Visit www.mnvotes.org to request your ballot.
