College leaders to give State of the Campus
The Greater Rochester Advocates for Universities and Colleges (GRAUC) advocacy organization invites members and interested parties of the community to hear from six top university and college presidents/chancellors/leaders for the State of the Campus presentation presented via live webinar at 7 a.m. on Friday, May 22.
With COVID-19 having a major impact on all area businesses and organizations, universities and colleges have the unique responsibility of continuing the education of their student body while maintaining safety and keeping operations ongoing.
“It is a challenging environment and each year we meet with college leaders so GRAUC can determine how to best advocate for both higher education systems and share workforce needs from the business community,” said Julie Nigon, Executive Director. “This year colleges have even greater challenges and we want to hear how to help and respond to their new needs.”
Six area post-secondary leaders will present with questions from the audience welcome.
The public is welcome to attend but due to the virtual format, registration via email is required. For more information contact Julie Nigon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
