Shed damaged in Monday night fire

No injuries were reported after a shed fire that occurred Monday night in Dexter.
According to Mower County Sheriff Steve Sandvik, the Dexter Fire Department was dispatched at about 11:10 p.m. on Monday to a shed fire in the 100 block of North Main Street in Dexter. Dexter firefighters returned to the scene at about 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday to put out hot spots.
The Mower County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol also responded to the scene.
The shed was unoccupied when the fire occurred.
There is no damage estimate at this time. The cause of the fire is unknown and the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office has been called to investigate.
