One injured in Saturday Red Wing accident Saturday

A Racine woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a Saturday evening motor vehicle accident.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol accident report, a 2011 GMC Terrain was headed north on Highway 61 in Red Wing at about 5:35 p.m. on Saturday. A 2015 Lincoln Navigator was headed south on 61 and was turning left onto Spring Creek Avenue North when the two vehicles collided.
The Goodhue County Sheriff’s Office, Red Wing Fire and Police Departments and Red Wing Ambulance responded to the scene.
The GMC Terrain’s passenger, Trisha Marie Uptigraff, 54, of Racine was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Red Wing with non-life threatening injuries. The GMC Terrain’s driver and the occupants of the Lincoln Navigator did not sustain any injuries.
