Minnesota COVID-19 cases see largest single-day jump

In the largest single-day increase since March 6, 463 new cases of COVID-19 in Minnesota were reported by the Minnesota Department of Health on Wednesday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 4,644.
Of that, 320 were hospitalized Wednesday, including 119 in intensive care, and 2,043 were no longer in isolation.
Over 35 percent of cases reported in Minnesota have come from Hennepin County. Only eight Minnesota counties have no reported cases of COVID-19.
The MDH also reported 18 new deaths on Wednesday, bringing the death toll to 319 since March 21.
Mower County remains steady at 28 confirmed cases, at least 26 of which are out of isolation.
