Jon M. Rorvig, 75, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020, at The Cedars Memory Care Center in Austin, Minnesota, where he resided since July 2017.
Jon was born on Dec. 15, 1944, in Cyrus, Minnesota, to Milton and Jean (Stadsvold) Rorvig. He attended school in the Cyrus/Starbuck, Minnesota, area. After graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Vietnam War. The majority of his work experience involved

“truck driving,” a profession that he loved! He drove all over the lower 48, Canada and Alaska.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda; and grandparents. Jon’s relatives include his siblings, Wayne Rorvig and Deb Bartz; children, Marian Rorvig, Jon Rorvig, Theresa (Dan) Bailey, Amy (Tim) Lau, Christian Rorvig and Noah Rorvig; seven grandchildren; and four (soon to be five) great-grandchildren.
Memorial services are being planned for a later date in Glenwood, Minnesota. Clasen-Jordan Mortuary is handling local arrangements.
Jon now has all his memories and stories back! He is FREE to have all of the Diet Pepsi and red licorice his heart desires. He can climb in his 18-wheeler and drive across Heaven.
