The Austin Bruins lost to the Aberdeen Wings (32-8-4-2 overall) 3-2 in a shootout in Aberdeen Friday.

The Bruins (24-15-2-5 overall) went one-for-seven in the shootout and the Wings won it when Mack Byers connected on their second goal of the shootout.

Brett Miller had 33 saves for Austin.
