Blooming Prairie saw its second player reach the 1,000 point barrier as it beat United South Central (13-9 overall) 61-52 on the road Thursday.
Kaden Thomas scored 10 points to put him over 1,000 and he joins his teammate and fellow senior Gabe Hagen on the 1,000-point club. Hagen, who had 25 points on Thursday, reached his milestone earlier this season for BP (18-3 overall).
“It’s nice to see those milestones met. It means a lot to all the boys, the coaches, and families,” BP head coach Nate Miller said. “I’ll forward some pictures as they become available. We also want to thank USC for graciously acknowledging Kaden’s accomplishment and stopping the game.”
