Photos: Donation to help get K-9 Rudy a new vest

On Wednesday morning, Jenn Jenkins (left), owner of Total Fitness in Austin, donated a check for $982 to the Austin K9 Unit for a bullet-resistant vest for the APD’s K9 Rudy. The vest will be made of the same material worn by Austin police officers. Also pictured are K9 Rudy with his handler, Detective and K9 Officer Derek Ellis.
