Packer swimmers set two Big 9 records

The Austin boys swimming and diving team put up some historic performances at the Big Nine swimming and diving meet in Northfield on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Packer 200-yard medley relay team of Rafe Dolan Peterson, Logan Kelly, Trey Myers and Aaron Knoll broke a Big Nine record when they took first with a time of 1:36.11 and Kelly set a new Big Nine record in the 100-yard breaststroke when he took first with a time of 56.55 seconds.

Dolan Peterson set a new AHS record in the 100-yard backstroke with a first place time of 52.61 seconds and Riley Norton took first in diving.

Austin took fourth as a team in the meet.
