The Austin boys basketball team managed to split the season series with Albert Lea as the Packers beat the Tigers (11-13 overall, 10-12 Big Nine) 41-40 in the final game of the regular season in AL Friday.

Agwa Nywesh had 19 points, five assists and four steals for the Packers (21-5 overall, 17-5 Big Nine).

Austin will open the postseason in Packer Gym at 8:01 p.m. Tuesday night.
