Sheriff becomes Austin’s all-time leading scorer

The Austin Bruins crowned a new franchise points leader, but they lost to the Chippewa Steel (23-12 overall) 5-2 on the road Saturday.

Dante Sheriff became the Bruins’ all-time points leader when he scored a goal to tie the game in the second period.

Tyler Shea stopped 43 of 46 shots for Austin (21-12-2-4 overall).
