The Austin girls hockey team gave the a tough opponent a good fight, but the Falcons (14-2 overall, 9-2 Big Nine) prevailed in a 3-2 win in Faribault Saturday.

Izzy Hemann and Hailee Schaefer each scored a goal in the loss for the Packers (6-9 overall, 4-8 Big Nine).

Faribault has allowed more than one goal just seven out of its 16 games this season.
