The Hayfield boys basketball team beat Maple River (7-8 overall, 4-2 Gopher) 74-49 in Hayfield Thursday.

The Vikings (11-3 overall, 5-2 Gopher) trailed 19-12 early on, but bounced back to win big.

“We did not play a good first half, but we dominated the second half,” Hayfield head coach Chris Pack said.

Hayfield will now have nine days off before its next game due to a band trip to Florida.
