A Saint Stephen man was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester following a Sunday accident in Marshall Township.

The accident occurred at about 2:07 a.m., when the State Patrol was informed a 2019 Chevrolet Cruze was traveling eastbound on Interstate 90, east of Austin, when it went off the road and crashed into the median at mile post 187.

The driver was identified as Isaac Jeffrey Dammen, 22, of Saint Stephen, Minnesota.

He was taken to the hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance.According to the State Patrol report, he suffered non-life threatening injuries.

No other vehicles or individuals were involved in the incident, according to the State Patrol.

In addition to the Minnesota State Patrol, both the Mower County Sheriff’s Office and the Grand Meadow Police Department were on scene.

According to the State Patrol, the road was wet at the time of the incident and alcohol was a factor.
