Blossoms prevail in showdown with Lyle-Pacelli

The Blooming Prairie boys basketball team beat Lyle-Pacelli 57-49 in a showdown of Section 1A contenders in Pacelli Gym Thursday.
Kaden Thomas paced the Awesome Blossoms (11-1 overall) with 18 points and Jed Nelson led LP (11-5 overall) with 15 points.

“Both schools packed the stands and the environment was electric,” BP head coach Nate Piller said. “I thought both teams showed a lot of tenacity and had a huge desire to compete. It was a lot of fun and a very quality win against a tough opponent in their home environment. A really well played ballgame.”
