Due to the potential for inclement weather and poor road conditions, the following schools have canceled class for Friday, Jan. 17:

Austin Public Schools has canceled class and all activities and sports. All Kids Korner students will be in Banfield Elementary from 6:15 a.m.-6 p.m. Students will need to have a cold lunch and drink as breakfast and lunch will not be served; and

Pacelli Catholic Schools has canceled classes. Activities and sports will be rescheduled. Shamrock Zone will be open from 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Lyle Public Schools has canceled classes. All sports and evening activities have been canceled.
