The Austin girls hockey team lost 4-2 to Rochester Mayo (3-6-1 overall, 2-5-1 Big Nine) in Rochester Tuesday.

Kate Holtz and Jordyn McCormack each had one goal for the Packers (3-7 overall, 2-6 Big Nine).

Sarah Wagnen had 21 saves for Austin.

“Sarah Wangen played phenomenal in her three games in net giving up less than five goals a game,” Austin head coach Troy Holtz said. “We outplayed them after the first putting on a lot of pressure. We have been playing really good hockey but have been running into hot goalies.”
