The Austin girls hockey team picked up its second straight win when it beat Mankato West (4-2 overall, 2-2 Big Nine) 4-3 in Mankato Tuesday.

Jordyn McCormack had a hat trick in the win for the Packers (2-3 overall, 2-3 Big Nine) and AJ Berrera had one goal.

Kyia Radford stopped 26 of the 29 thos she saw in net.

Kate Holtz  had two assists for Austin and Izzy Hemann and Lexi Stitch each had one assist.

“The girls played another fantastic game. Jordyn played an outstanding game with her line getting a lot of quality chances. AJ Barrera continues to grow showing a knack for the net,” Austin head coach Troy Holtz said. “Kyia is becoming a very strong goalie and is getting better day by day.”
