KSMQ Public Television seeks a full time Master Control Operator

The ideal candidate works well with software applications and has an aptitude for operating electronic equipment.

Position is based in Austin.

+ Gather media files and manage their transfer for broadcast use.

+ Take direction to set up, control and monitor television broadcast equipment.

+ Must be punctual and provide own transportation: ability to work nights without supervision.

+ Background, security examinations required.

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Strong commitment to the mission and goals of public broadcasting.

This is specialized work and we will train the right candidate.
