The Hayfield girls basketball team had a rough start as it lost to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown (5-0 overall, 4-0 Gopher) 52-21 in Hayfield Thursday.

The Vikings (1-4 overall, 0-3 Gopher) trailed 15-0 to start the game.
